Remembering Alice Udall

Alice Udall was a power house:  A force to be reckoned with.  Her life spanned multiple careers and roles and she never slowed down.  She was a social worker, a juvenile justice advocate, a volunteer, entrepreneur, print-business owner, real estate agent, an adventurer, traveler, caregiver, florist, a traditionalist AND a feminist, perennial jokster, lover of festivities and all holidays, a person willing to learn new things, an activist, a friend, wife, and mother and the best Auntie Alice!   Alice - Mrs. Udall - was fiercely loyal to those she loved and defined the phrase “generous to a fault”.  Burr and she created a home that for 65 years was an open and revolving door of people who needed help or just wanted to be where the fun was.  Their house was a place to stay, a place to live, a place to be when you were away from home, a place to have a wedding, funeral, or birthday party, a place to watch the UofA play, well, any sport and generally just the center of warmth and welcoming.  Her often opinionated but tireless and loving spirit is so missed.
